Seedream 5.0 Pro is the image model behind the BytePlus image generator, and the same model is available through the Seedream API. It is built for editing work as much as for generation: the parts of an image you did not describe stay where they are.
Precise editing instead of regenerating
Most image workflows break when a small change forces a full regeneration and the composition shifts. Seedream 5.0 Pro applies instruction-scoped edits, so you can keep a product, a face or a layout fixed and change only the detail you asked for.
Layouts, layers and languages
Three capabilities matter for production work:
- Complex infographics - dense, structured visuals rather than a single centred subject.
- Layered output - separated layers so a design can keep moving after generation.
- Multilingual generation - text rendered in the languages a campaign needs, inside the image.
From Seedream to Seedance
Both models share one account and one credit balance. A common production path is to finish the still in the image generator, then take it into Seedance for video, with the same reference asset serving both steps.
Planning quota and concurrency
Usage is credit based: token packages and plan tiers set the balance, the quota and how many requests run at once. Current tiers are listed on pricing.
